Online conference platform:
We will be using Whova (www.whova.com) for this meeting. Whova embeds e.g., Zoom conferences in their platform, and adds various forms of functionality, and will also work for poster presentations, small-group discussions, and roundtables. Attendees will receive a log-in link to the Whova platform, but no download is necessary. All presenters will need a Zoom account (zoom.us), which is free; it is recommended for attendees to have a Zoom account as well, but it is not strictly necessary.

Conference proceedings
For ICP7, we are collaborating with the journal Diversity (IF: 3.031) to produce a special conference proceedings issue, preliminarily entitled “Recent Advances in Taxonomy, Morphology and Evolution of Lice”. All participants who contribute either a talk or a poster to the conference are encouraged to rework their research on that topic into a manuscript for this special issue. For more information on this opportunity, click here.

Best wishes, and hope to see you all in later this year!

Sincerely,

Daniel Gustafsson & Fasheng Zou
