I am currently in my third year of undergraduate study and am pursuing degrees in both Biology and Ballet. I joined the Clayton Lab in May 2008 as a part of the BioScience Undergraduate Research Program. Since then I’ve been involved in several different projects. These include studying the effect of endosymbiotic bacteria on pigeon louse fitness, and looking at character displacement in two closely related louse species. I plan to continue on to graduate school in biology after completing my undergraduate work. In my free time I enjoy reading, skiing, hiking, and of course, lots of dancing.
