Projects: Faunal Surveys

This is our lab mascot "Swimmer", a nine year old Chinese Water Dragon.  Water dragons look a little like Iguanas, but they are very carnivorous.  Swimmer eats crickets dusted with vitamins, as well as frozen pinky mice.  Prior to eating mice, he insists on thrashing them to death, even though they are already dead.  Old habits die hard.
